JazzCash hires Noorin Khan as expert in public sector partnerships

Noorin Khan, the perspicacious former project manager for the Ministry of Science and Technology, has joined JazzCash as the subject matter expert for public sector partnerships (PSP).

Ranked by Sensor Tower data as the number one most downloaded financial services app in Pakistan, JazzCash competes with EasyPaisa, UPaisa, and Zindigi, among others, in the mobile wallet, mobile payments, and branchless banking services provider space.

Based in the Southern region – which covers Sindh and Balochistan – Noorin will be the focal point for potential and existing high-value clients to develop JazzCash’s public sector portfolio, including disbursement solutions, the payment gateway, in-app payment collections. The role directly reports to JazzCash regional manager of corporate partnerships Muhammad Adnan Sarwar, while the PSP team is led by Arif Chaudhary.

The PSP team at JazzCash pursues high-value organizations for the sale of disbursement and collections solutions by integrating and onboarding large ecosystems. This team is responsible for bringing new clients on board while maintaining relationships with existing ones. The team acts as a principal point of contact between a business and its customers, identifies new markets and customer leads and pitches prospective customers, develops an understanding of the existing public sector client base, and liaises with them for upselling and making sure the operational activities are smooth.

Armed with demonstrated experience of leading challenging projects by taking end-to-end responsibility from planning to roll out within the digital financial services, space Noorin is the latest hire in this team that will apply her sound communication, presentation, and negotiation skill to meet the performance expectations for this role which are to sell JazzCash solutions.
